The league returns tonight following a shallow slate to bring us 13 games across the league in one of the busiest nights of the young season thus far. With all the noise, let’s key in on three games I have my eye on this evening.

1. Magic +7.5 | -110 at DraftKings Sportsbook
The Magic return home tonight after a brutal five-game road trip which included stops at the Hawks, Nets, Knicks, and two at the Bucks. Hanging in with both teams on their trip to New York, the Magic got blasted in their series with the Bucks losing both by a combined 38 points.
The Hornets last played on Monday, a 109-103 win over the Wizards, which was their second over the team in four days. Terry Rozier went off for a season-high 32 points on a night he couldn’t miss and carried them to victory.
In this one, I like for the Magic to get back on track with the return of Cole Anthony, who missed the Bucks series, and for their atrocious shooting in the series to regress to its mean.
2. Blazers -2.5 | -110 at DraftKings Sportsbook
It’s safe to say Dame Lillard’s early-season shooting woes are over, as the All-Star guard has now scored 20+ in eight straight games and showing no signs of slowing down. In their win over the Nuggets last night, their fourth straight, Lillard scored 25, and his robin, CJ McCollum, dropped 32 of his own.
Things are starting to get ugly for the Kings as they’ve now lost four straight and enter tonight under the guidance of Alvin Gentry, who was named interim coach when Luke Walton was fired last week. In their only game since the Kings lost to a team of glorified G-League stars as the 76ers were missing four starters in the 102-94 win.
I like the Blazers to pick up their second road win of the season tonight and route the flailing Blazers.
3. Jazz/Thunder Under 209.5 | -110 at DraftKings Sportsbook
While Houston continues to get much of the accolades, this Thunder offense is truly turning into something atrocious. Coming into tonight, the Thunder’s offense ranks last or second to last in the NBA in points per game, FG%, and 3PT%, with just two players averaging more than 10 points per game.
On the other side of this play, the Jazz certainly has no problem putting up points but have started to show a tendency to play down to their opponents. Over their last four games vs. teams with a winning percentage of .400 or below, the under is a perfect 4-0.
I like for the Jazz to be content building a lead early tonight and grinding this one out on the road in an underrated home-court advantage in Oklahoma City.
