Top 3 NBA Betting Picks for Wednesday, November 10th (2021)

With all NBA teams having reached the 10 game mark, the NBA season is off and running as 2020-21 is shaping up to be a great one. While there are some familiar names at the top, there are some up-and-coming teams making noise and covering spreads seemingly every night.

Let’s take a closer look at tonight’s slate and see where the value remains.

1. Wizards +3.5-110 at DraftKings Sportsbook

Things were only looking up for Cavaliers coach J.B. Bickerstaff as his young team improved to 7-4 on Sunday with a 126-109 win over the Knicks. Not all was up, however, as star guard Collin Sexton was potentially lost for the season with a meniscus tear in his left knee.

In his place will likely step Isaac Okoro, as well Ricky Rubio seeing additional time.

For the Wizards, also coming into this one with seven wins (7-3), last week they were able to avoid an injury scare of their own as center Daniel Gafford collided knees mid-game, alter to be determined just a bone bruise.

The emergence of Gafford alongside the newly acquired Kyle Kuzma and All-Star Bradley Beal have this Wizards team humming along early, as they likely complete their second three-game win streak (and cover) of the season tonight in Cleveland.

2. Timberwolves +7 |  -110 at DraftKings Sportsbook

This one originally opened up at +7.5 and was quickly eaten up by sharp bettors; to which I agree.

The last time we saw this 9-1 Warriors team on the floor was another marquee episode of the Steph-show, as the two-time NBA MVP went for 50 against the Hawks on Monday night, extending the Warrior’s win streak to five games.

His opponent in this one, the Timberwolves, had a star player with a night of his own on Monday, as former Warrior De’Angelo Russell dropped 30 in their 125-117 OT loss at Memphis.

In this one, I like for Russell to come out of the gates motivated, and to get a boost from the surging Karl Anthony Towns who has nine straight double-doubles vs. this Warriors team and is coming off a 25-point double-double of his own.

 3. Heat -4.5| -110 at DraftKings Sportsbook

In what will surely be the most-watched game of the night, the scorching Heat head West to take on the Lakers in what could end up being an NBA Finals preview; just without LeBron James.

As James deals with an abdominal injury, Carmelo Anthony has stepped up to the plate most recently dropping 29 in the Laker’s OT win vs. Charlotte on Monday.

For the Heat, forward Markieff Morris will miss tonight’s game after Monday’s incident vs. Denver, as the Heat look to get back on track recently dropping two of three. With LeBron sidelined and after what happened Monday, I think we see a unified Heat team run away with this one.
