Before the Madness of March gets started tomorrow on the college hardwood, the NBA takes center stage tonight with 12 games across the league. In the national TV spot, Luka Doncic and the Mavericks head to Brooklyn to face the surging Nets who are enjoying a healthy Kevin Durant. In the late slot, the Celtics visit the Warriors in what is surely the most anticipated matchup of the evening.
Let’s take a closer look.

1. Hornets -2 | -110 at DraftKings Sportsbook
Separated by just half of a game in the 10th and final spot in the Eastern Conference play-in tournament, the Hawks and Hornets will face off tonight in a game both teams desperately need. For the Hawks, who rank 7th in the league in averaging 112.9 points per game, tonight will certainly serve as a heat check after three straight games of beating up on some of the lower-tier teams in the league.
Ditto for the Hornets, who let a strong start to the season slip away following a terrible January, and are not fighting for their lives as well. Averaging 138 points per game over their past two, the offense is clicking, however, once again. With John Collins out of the lineup tonight for Atlanta, I like for the Hornets to be too much and win this one outright.
2. Nuggets -6 | -110 at DraftKings Sportsbook
Making the short trip down from Philadelphia on Monday night, the Nuggets will take on the Wizards in DC tonight as they look to gain ground in the Western Conference playoffs. Winners of 7 of their past 10, the Nuggets knocked off the 76ers Monday as 3.5 point underdogs.
For the Wizards, any hopes of regaining their positioning in the Eastern Conference play-in tournament have evaporated. Since the All-Star break, the Wizards have lost seven of nine, allowing 122.6 points per game over their past five. Look for more of the same tonight, despite Aaron Gordon potentially out with an illness.
3. Warriors -3 | -110 at DraftKings Sportsbook
Two of the hottest teams in the league will square off tonight in San Francisco, as the red-hot Celtics head to take on the increasingly healthy Warriors team that no one wants to see down the stretch. Now 5-0 ATS in their past five games, the Warriors are starting to click on all cylinders as the splash brothers start to get their mojo back.
For the Celtics, a Sunday loss to the Mavericks was one of their worst offensive performances of the season scoring just 92 points in a 92-95 loss. In this National TV spot, look for the Warriors to come out firing tonight at home.
