Another day another packed slate of NBA games with 10 teams in action across the league starting at 7:00 PM EST. While the season is still young, the contenders are beginning to emerge and the pretenders starting to sink.
Let’s take a closer look at where the value remains tonight.

1. Jazz -1.5| -110 at DraftKings Sportsbook
The top team in the west heads east tonight to kick off a three-game road trip, starting with a meeting with the Hawks tonight in Atlanta. As has been the case for the last several years, Rudy Gobert is once again dominating his opponents this season, scoring a double-double in six of his seven games thus far while averaging a staggering 17.6 rebounds per game.
Add in the newly acquired wingman Hassan Whiteside and a backcourt of Donovan Mitchel and Mike Conley, and it’s hard to think of any other team, but the Jazz at the top of the western conference standings come playoff time if healthy.
For the home Hawks, they come into this one off of a loss last night to Brooklyn, a game they were tied with 5 minutes left before Keven Durant cemented a win for the Nets. In this one, I look for the Jazz to take advantage of the tired legs of the Hawks and coast to victory.
2. Celtis +6 | -110 at DraftKings Sportsbook
While the Jazz lead the west, the Heat lead the east, starting the season 6-1 and making light work of opponents along the way. In their win Tuesday over the Mavericks, four heat players scored 22 points or more, a franchise record and feat not unnoticed by the rest of the league.
For the home Celtics, a semi-rebuild is underway in Boston under first-year head coach Ime Udoka who, outside of Jaylen Brown and Jayson Tatum, has little to work with as he looks down the bench.
In this one, I like for, in my opinion, the best team in the league to continue to roll and for the Heat to cruise to an easy victory
3. Thunder +13.5 | -110 at DraftKings Sportsbook
Despite being a “revenge” game of sorts, with the Lakers having given the Thunder their only win of the season thus far, I just don’t believe in that term in the NBA in almost any case. I also don’t believe the Lakers are quite yet capable of blowing out any team, so I’ll gladly take the points in this one.
