Today there aren’t many winning teams coming off of losses. That means we need to find betting value elsewhere. Today there are a lot of good teams that play middle-of-the-pack teams. These games have tight spreads and are great for betting on.

Golden State Warriors -1.5 -110 at DraftKings Sportsbook
The Golden State Warriors are one of the top two teams in the NBA. Phoenix is the other team, and they just lost to Golden State. They are 21-4 and are 3-1 in December. Stephen Curry is playing like the MVP this year. Draymond Green is back to being the best defender in the league. The 76ers are finding ways to win games this year, but last time these two teams played, the Warriors won 116-96. Curry went 6-11 from three-point range during that game. Without Ben Simmons, the 76ers don’t have the perimeter defenders they need to stop Curry. This game is an opportunity to bet on the best team in the NBA to beat a .500 team.
Utah Jazz -5 -110 at DraftKings Sportsbook
The Utah Jazz is the best team in the NBA at covering 5-9 points spreads, covering 70% of the time. Every time the betting spread is in this range, it is an opportunity to bet the Jazz. In December, the Utah Jazz is 4-0 and winning by an average of 15 points per game. The Jazz is a team that keeps scoring once they are ahead. They never let up. The Wizards are one of the shorter teams in the NBA. Their tallest center is 6’9”. Rudy Gobert is one of the best centers in the league, and at 7’1”, will have an advantage over the Wizards centers. This game is a bad matchup for the Wizards.
Nikola Vucevic Double Double -135 at DraftKings Sportsbook
Vucevic is averaging 10.5 rebounds and 15.4 points per game. In the last two games, Vucevic has gotten double-doubles and has started to emphasize rebounding. With starting center Bam Adebayo hurt for the Miami Heat, this game is a great betting opportunity for Vucevic to continue his double-double streak. This game will be close, and the Bulls will stretch Vucevic’s minutes to try and win this game. With Vucevic averaging a double-double, and his extended minutes in this game, Vucevic getting a double-double is a solid value.
