NBA Player Props & Picks

Buddy Hield, Over 3.5 3-Pointers Made (-130)

Since the All-Star break, the Rockets are the worst team at defending the 3-point line as they have allowed opponents to make 17 3-pointers per game. Opponents are taking 40 3-pointers per game against them while shooting 3s at 42.6% which, ranks among the bottom-three in 3-point accuracy allowed.

The Rockets will have their hands full tonight with the league leader in total 3-point makes this season, Budd Hield. Hield is shooting 3s at a 42.7% rate and averaging 3.7 makes per game on 8.7 3-pointers attempted per game. Over the last five games, Hield has been even hotter at 46.2% from beyond the arc.

Since 2019, Hield has attempted close to 11 3-pointers per game against the Rockets. Earlier this season in Houston, Hield attempted 13 from beyond the arc but only knocked down three. However, Hield should go over 3.5 3s made tonight with how hot he’s been lately on such high volume from downtown. Take him to go over 3.5 3-pointers made, and there’s also value on an escalator of 5+ 3s made at +180!

Pick: Buddy Hield Over 3.5 3s Made

Nets vs.

Bucks

Giannis Antetokounmpo, Over 12.5 Rebounds (+100)

Spread Bucks -12
Time | TV 8 p.m. ET | NBA League Pass
Best Line BetMGM

Since the All-Star break, the Nets are allowing the second-most rebounds to their opponents at 50 per game. The Nets will be short on size tonight with players such as Nic Claxton, Royce O’Neale, Cameron Johnson and Ben Simmons all ruled out for the matchup with the Bucks.

Giannis Antetokounmpo has had plenty of success rebounding the basketball against the Nets. In fact, Giannis has recorded 12 or more rebounds in seven out of his last eight games against the Nets. In three prior matchups this season against the Nets, Giannis is averaging 14 rebounds per game.

The shorthanded Nets lack the size and athleticism to contain Antetokounmpo, and I am expecting another big night for him on the glass tonight. Bet his rebounding total over up to 13.5.

Pick: Giannis Antetokounmpo Over 12.5 Rebounds
