The NBA features a packed eight-game slate on Sunday for bettors to get some action. The Action Network NBA analysts have found two games they are eying – Matt Moore has a spread bet for Nuggets-Bucks while Roberto Arguello likes a side on Jazz-Timberwolves. Matt Moore: Denver is 0-3 this season straight up vs. teams with a top-10 Point Differential, with a -8.8 Spread Differential in those games. They can get by vs. average and bad teams but have struggled with good teams.
The Nuggets are 25th in the league defensively vs. top-10 offensive teams and 14th offensively. I would lean towards the Bucks’ team total over here as well but don’t want the total at 232 as it’s sky high.
Even though Denver has had success in Milwaukee in recent seasons, this roster is very different, and laying only six in a game where I have the Bucks -7.6 is enough to lay the points and Fear The Deer.

Utah Jazz vs. Minnesota Timberwolves

Roberto Arguello: The Utah Jazz have lost four straight games as they have been floundering without Donovan Mitchell and Rudy Gobert. The Jazz will be without both players again on Sunday when they face the Timberwolves on the road.
This sets up as a challenging matchup for Utah on the interior with Karl-Anthony Towns against a defense missing Gobert while Anthony Edwards should have driving lanes available against a poor Utah perimeter defense that won’t have Gobert behind them to clean up their mistakes.
The Timberwolves have lost consecutive games against the Warriors and Suns coming into this matchup, so they will face a step down in competition and should be plenty motivated to get the win Sunday.
While D’Angelo Russell and Patrick Beverly are both questionable, I like the value on the Wolves regardless of their statuses as Edwards, Jaylen Nowell and Malik Beasley should be able to step up in their potential absence. Conversely, the Jazz don’t have players who can step up on the perimeter to fill Mitchell’s role as a scorer because Bojan Bogdanovic has been in a funk lately as he has made just three of his last 19 3s over the last three games.
