WNBA Player Props & Picks
Wings vs.
Fever
Satou Sabally Over 3.5 Assists (-125)
Spread | Dallas -172 |
Time | TV | 4 p.m. ET | ESPN3 |
Best Line | FanDuel |
Satou Sabally’s feel has been incredible this season, and against the defensively challenged Indiana Fever this afternoon, she’ll have not only scoring opportunities but also wide open passing lanes to continue attacking, as she has been doing a great job of recently.
The Oregon product has recorded at least four assists in four of her last five games and seven of her last nine. She’s scoring, sure – up to 18.1 points per game this season, though, that’s down to about 15 points per contest over her last nine – but she’s creating opportunities and seeing the floor, as well.
Her early scoring – 21.2 points per game through her first nine appearances to start the season – has drawn more defensive attention, causing her to be more of a distributor. Since she recorded 2.8 assists per game over her first nine games, she has recorded 4.2 assists per game over her last nine contests.
Expect her to continue dropping dimes at this increased rate this afternoon.
Pick: Satou Sabally Over 3.5 Assists |
Aces vs.
Lynx
A’ja Wilson Over 8.5 Rebounds (-140)
Spread | Las Vegas -13.5 |
Time | TV | 7 p.m. ET | |
Best Line | DraftKings |
A’ja Wilson is averaging 9.5 boards over her last 13 games and has gotten 10 or more 10 different times in that span. She only got five rebounds last time out – two and three in the other sub 10-rebound efforts – so if you don’t hit this prop, you’ll at least know early.
Still, Wilson has been one of the premier rebounders in the league again, and she has a decent matchup against the Minnesota Lynx, whom she bulled for 14 boards against on June 18th.
The Lynx are fourth in rebounding per 100 possessions and generally one of the better teams on the boards by percentage, but they’ll miss their second-best on the glass in Jessica Shepard due to illness, as well as third-best rebounder Ariel Powers who will sit with an ankle injury.
I probably like this up to 9.5 rebounds, which is -106 at FanDuel, given the holes for the Lynx which Wilson could exploit on the glass today.
Pick: A’ja Wilson Over 9.5 Rebounds -106 |
