The Detroit Pistons will host the Cleveland Cavaliers on Sunday night at Little Caesars Arena with tipoff set for 6:00 PM ET. The Cavaliers four-game winning streak ended in Milwaukee on Friday at the start of a three-game road trip. The Cavaliers have already won in Detroit this month when they recorded a 112-88 victory on November 4th. Detroit played without four starters in Phoenix on Friday but hung tough before succumbing 108-102. Star guard Cade Cunningham is out indefinitely with a shin injury. Saddiq Bey (ankle), Isaiah Stewart (toe) and Jaden Ivey (knee) were also sidelined, though Bey and Ivey might return on Sunday. To make matters worse, the team’s other starter, Bojan Bogdanovic, suffered an ankle injury late in the game and is questionable.

Pistons vs. Cavaliers Best Bets
Cavaliers -7 (-110 DraftKings)
Cleveland has a great chance to get back to their winning ways against an injury-depleted Pistons team on Sunday. The two-headed monster of Donovan Mitchell and Darius Garland should be able to score at will against a Detroit team that ranks 27th in opponents points per game. With so many of their offensive scoring options out or playing injured at best, Detroit will have a tough challenge against the 6th-ranked Cavalier defense.
Cleveland is 6-0 ATS this season when favored by five or more points. Likewise, when the Pistons are underdogs and the spread is between 5.5-9 points they are 2-5-2 ATS. With Detroit being so banged up and the Cavs looking to start a new winning streak, I’ll side with Cleveland and the points in this one.

Pistons vs. Cavaliers Game Total Over 218 Points (-110 DraftKings)
With Mitchell and Garland being two of the most dangerous scoring threats in the league and the Pistons defense ranking in the bottom-five in most categories, Cleveland should be able to score with ease. With this game potentially getting out of hand early in favor of the Cavs, there should be a lot of easy baskets in a non-competitive 4th quarter. Eight of the last ten Pistons games have gone over this total. The over is also 11-2-2 in the last 15 meetings between these teams.
