Where’s The Value?

Boston Celtics

The Boston Celtics have been red hot this season. The Celtics are currently in first place in the East despite starting over 10 games below .500. A duo of Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown can’t really be denied. With the Brooklyn Nets, Miami Heat, and most East teams struggling, the Celtics are the one team that looks to be gaining steam.

It’s not just that the Celtics are winning. But the Celtics are beating up on over .500 teams and winning by double digits consistently. There was a lot more value earlier in the season but still, +1000 for a first-place team will do.

Dallas Mavericks

The Dallas Mavericks are built to win now. With Luka Doncic leading the way, you can never count out the Mavericks. He’s averaging nearly 28 points per game along with 9.1 rebounds and 8.5 assists per game. Plus, now he has additional assets on his team like Spencer Dinwiddie and the team is responding well.

Doncic is going to end up with a couple of rings before his career is over. It could happen this year if he plays out of his mind.

Teams You Should Stay Away From

Brooklyn Nets

The Nets just lost to the Hornets, at home, with Kyrie Irving and Kevin Durant both in the starting lineup. At this point, enough of the excuses. The Nets have been horrible defensively and the offense has been a bit lackluster too at times.

Ben Simmons isn’t going to change this team that much. He’ll be a great asset if he ever returns but for now, stay far away from the Nets. This team looks tired and weak.

Chicago Bulls

The Bulls will make the postseason, without a doubt. But the Bulls have also struggled against teams over .500 this season. Chicago, to finish off the regular season, has one of the hardest schedules in the NBA. The Bulls are just trying to hold onto a spot outside of the play-in games. Chicago might not even be able to do that.
