The NBA Playoffs roll into the Conference Semifinals, and there are a pair of Game 2s on the schedule as the Celtics and Grizzlies look to even up their respective series on their home floors.
We’ll be using the Action Labs Player Prop tool to compare our NBA projections to the props posted at a variety of sportsbooks. Below, I have laid out two prop bets that I’m playing, the case for each bet and the best books to find odds on those player props.

NBA Player Props & Picks
Grayson Allen, Over 2.5 3s Made (+125)
Milwaukee Bucks vs. Boston Celtics | Celtics -4 |
Time | TV | 7 p.m. ET | TNT |
Best Book | DraftKings |
Grayson Allen has been a bright spot for the Bucks, especially in the absence of Khris Middleton. Allen has played 25+ minutes for the Bucks over the last four playoff games and contributed significantly from 3-point territory.
In fact, Allen has made at least three 3-point shots for the Bucks in four consecutive games. Further, Allen is knocking down the shots in an efficient way for the Milwaukee Bucks. He is a combined 17-26 from 3-point land at a 65.3% shooting clip over that span.
The Celtics are struggling to defend the 3-point line as well. Among the 16 playoff teams, the Celtics rank #14 in opponent 3-point percentage. In Game 1 of this series, Allen was responsible for 25% of the 3s made for the Bucks.
Expect the same game plan for the Bucks in Game 2 as Giannis Antetokounmpo will attack the basket and kick out to the shooters on the perimeter. At plus odds, I love this to soar over the total.
Ja Morant, Over 16.5 Rebounds + Assists (-130)
Golden State Warriors vs. Memphis Grizzlies | Warriors -2 |
Time | TV | 9:30 p.m. ET | TNT |
Best Book | DraftKings |
Ja Morant is not having a great postseason thus far shooting the ball with efficiency. In fact, Morant is shooting only 40.2% from the field, 25.8% from 3-point territory and 71% from the free throw line. However, Morant has adjusted and found himself by filling up the stat sheet by rebounding and distributing.
He is averaging close to 10.5 assists and 8.7 rebounds per game. Furthermore, Morant has gone over this projection in six straight games. In three playoff games, Morant fell one stat short of posting a triple-double. Morant should fill up the stat sheet because the Warriors rank below average in opponent rebounding and assists per game among playoff teams.
