Russell Westbrook Over 6.5 assists (+122 FanDuel)

With LeBron James going for the points record, I think it’s an easy money maker to go with his teammates and their assist overs, especially at plus money.

Westbrook has consistently averaged 7.6 assists per game over the last two months, so it’s quite surprising that his total is 6.5 in a game like this. Even on the season, it’s at 7.5, so reaching seven assists is quite reasonable with his playtime. He’s reached at least seven in four of his last five games.

Besides the fact that LeBron is going for the record, the Lakers and Thunder are two of the three fastest-paced teams in the nation. There will be plenty of scoring opportunities in this game with the mere number of possessions to be had. I’m feeling solid about this one tonight.

Julius Randle Under 38.5 Pts + Reb (-105 DraftKings)

To go under in a combo prop with Randle I cannot say I am too stoked about, but I feel like this is a good spot for it. Randle has been overperforming recently, averaging more rebounds and points in the last two weeks than he has all season.

I’m also trusting the numbers here with the BettingPros Prop Bet Cheat Sheet identifying this as one of the best plays on the slate with a +25 percent expected value. Orlando is a pace-down spot for New York, simply giving fewer opportunities for Randle to rack up points and rebounds.

This prop is simply too high. While Orlando’s defense isn’t the best, they do boast a top-10 rebounding rate that should give Randle some trouble on the glass. He’s been playing well, but now I see it as the time to fade the Kentucky product.

Anthony Edwards Under 37.5 Pts + Ast + Reb (-117 Caesars)

This may be a bit chalky of a play, but I can’t imagine Anthony Edwards reaching the ceiling of 37.5 on this combo prop at Denver.

Not only is Denver a big pace-down spot for the Timberwolves, but the star guard has scored more than 20 points in just one of three matchups against the Nuggets this season. With Denver’s top-five ranked rebounding rate, I don’t see Ant to reach his 6.0 boards a game average, and he’s been remarkably overperforming in the last two weeks.

He’s averaged nearly 28 points a game, but I imagine on the road at Denver tonight, it will be brought down closer to below 25 points a game, or even lower.
