How will Pascal Siakam perform against the Boston Celtics in his fifth game against them this year? And should we be concerned about Anthony Davis on the back half of a back-to-back?

Tuesday’s Best NBA Player Prop Bets
This Season: 30-50 (-20.91 units)
Scottie Barnes Under 31.5 points + rebounds (+100)
Barnes has scored at least 20 points in three consecutive games, but he’s only pulled down nine rebounds in his past two games combined. Tonight, he takes on the Bulls, a team that he’s had two solid games against this season. The last time these two teams played, he scored 31.
Generally, we’d back an Over in this scenario. This total is set above Barnes’ season averages and the line makes even less sense when you consider that he’s gone below his season average in back-to-back games. But this line is made because of Barnes’ success the most recent time he played the Bulls. Therefore, it’s not your typical trap line and may be a way to get bettors to take the over. The Bulls are allowing the ninth-fewest points in the league, so we recommend playing the under for a number that is far too high.
Pascal Siakam 20+ points (+105)
Siakam has faced the Celtics four times this season, but never as a member of the Indiana Pacers. In his previous games, he’s alternated between 20+ point performances and 17-point performances.
Siakam’s floor is high against the Celtics, being that he’s all but guaranteed to score at least 17. Tonight, Tyrese Haliburton is expected to play for the Pacers, which is great news for Siakam. In the only game the two played together this year, Siakam scored 21. Haliburton is averaging 12.6 assists per game. In what should be a high-scoring back-and-forth game, Haliburton will get the ball to Siakam plenty, as he clears 20 against the Celtics for the third time this season.
Anthony Davis Over 37.5 points + rebounds (-110)
Davis and the Los Angeles Lakers travel to Atlanta for the second game of a back-to-back tonight. Playing two games in a row may concern some bettors, but Davis has performed well in such situations throughout the season. Additionally, the Lakers were already taking into account the fact that Davis would be needed tonight, as he played just 29 minutes last night.
The Hawks are one of the worst teams in the league at defending in the paint. They’re allowing 55.7 points per game from that area. Davis will take advantage of that mismatch to easily score in the high 20s or low 30s. Add the fact that the Atlanta Hawks are allowing the ninth-most rebounds in the league and it’s not hard to see why this is the right play.
