NBA Parlay Odds & Picks for Tuesday, April 5 (2022)

We are officially inside of a week left in the 2021-22 NBA regular season as there is still much left to be played for in both conferences. Following a rare night off to let the NCAA have its night, the NBA is back with a packed 24 teams in action.

Let’s take a closer look at three teams I am keyed in on ahead of a busy week in the Association.

Leg #1. Cavaliers -8.5 | -110 at DK Sportsbook

While things have gone poorly for the Cavaliers to end the regular season, they still allow just 105.2 points per game and fight hard every night. Losers of three of their past four, all three losses have come against playoff-bound foes, a challenge they won’t be dealing with tonight.

The Magic are running out the clock on the season, playing even worse than they did to start. Entering tonight, the Magic are averaging just 103.8 points per game to rank dead last in the league. Still in contention for the 6th spot in the Eastern Conference playoffs, expected a motivated Cavaliers team tonight in Orlando.

Leg #2. Heat -5.5 | -110 at DK Sportsbook

With a two-game lead atop the Eastern Conference standings, the Heat have just three games remaining to lock it up. And a win tonight could very well get them there. Following a three-game slide and some internal strife, the Heat have pulled it together, winning four straight, three of which came on the road vs. playoff-bound opponents (4-0 ATS).

The Hornets, on the other hand, are stumbling into the postseason. Losing two of their past three (1-2 ATS), the Hornets’ lack of defensive effort continuously is coming back to get them as they’re now allowing 114.8 points per game. Look for an aggressive Miami team tonight as they look to pick up the win and get one step closer to securing that #1 seed.

Leg #3. Trail Blazers-Thunder Under 222.5 | -110 at DK Sportsbook

The Trail Blazers and Thunder face off again, and again they have little to play for. Before last week’s 131-134 overtime thriller in Portland, these two had played to the under in four straight games by an average of 20 points per game.

Last week’s high-scoring affair was more an outlier than anything else, as both teams came into the week in the league’s bottom five, averaging just 107.2 (Portland) and 104.1 (Thunder) points per game. Look for another low-scoring affair in this one.

Total Odds: +595 at DK Sportsbook
