The New York Knicks travel to Sacramento to take on the Kings in the Knicks first matchup of a four-game West Coast road trip. The Knicks have had their way with the Kings in the past as they have won five straight against them, but this is a new-look Kings team that has really clicked offensively.

The Kings have won seven of their last 10 overall and remain tied for second in the Western Conference. They have the best Offensive Rating (119.6), per Cleaning The Glass, and are the highest-scoring team in the Association, averaging 121.1 points per game.

The injury report will be important to monitor prior to tip for the Knicks with Jalen Brunson listed as questionable for this matchup. Without Brunson, the Knicks are just 3-3 this season.

NBA Same Game Parlay Odds & Pick

The Parlay: (+265)

  • De’Aaron Fox Over 6.5 Assists (-115)
  • Julius Randle 4+ 3-Pointers Made (-115)

De’Aaron Fox Over 6.5 Assists (-115)

These two teams rank among the top three in Offensive Rating (excluding garbage time, per Cleaning The Glass), with the Knicks third and the Kings first. Both also are among the top 10 in points per game.

For Sacramento, De’Aaron Fox returns to the lineup after missing two of the Kings’ last four contests. This season, Fox is averaging a career high in points per game, two-point percentage and 3-point percentage. Along with impressive scoring numbers, he’s also averaging 6.3 assists per contest. He’s had momentum distributing the basketball as he has gone over his set total in four straight games.

Expecting the Kings to keep it rolling on the offensive end with Fox setting the table with his scoring and distributing.

Julius Randle 4+ 3-pointers Made

The Knicks have been 3-point happy recently. They attempt 3s at the 12th-highest rate in the NBA (per Cleaning The Glass) and are eighth in 3-point attempts per game (35.4). Over their last three games, they have been even more active from beyond the arc as they have averaged 40.7 3-point attempts in that span. They are in a favorable spot tonight against a Kings defense ranked 27th in 3-point accuracy allowed at 37.8%.

Julius Randle has been extremely hot from beyond the arc, connecting on three or more made 3-point shots in six of the Knicks’ last seven games overall. He’s done this on high volume – 10.8 3-point attempts per game over that seven-game stretch.

It’s been a while since these two teams met up, but in their last two meetings, Randle connected on 3-of-11 from beyond the arc and 8-of-16 from 3. Expect his hot shooting to continue on high volume again tonight.
