Kings vs. Bulls Betting Preview: Back the Kings and the Under

Betsperts analyst Ron Klos previews his best bets for the Kings vs the Bulls.

The Sacramento Kings will host the Chicago Bulls on Sunday night at the Golden 1 Center with tipoff set for 6:00 PM ET. The Bulls will be looking to break even on a six-game trip that saw them win two of the first three before dropping the last couple at Phoenix and Golden State last night. They have not won in Sacramento in three years. They will be playing a Kings team that has won two in a row, including a 123-96 blowout on the road against the Los Angeles Clippers on Saturday afternoon.

Kings vs. Bulls Best Bets

Kings -3 (-110 DraftKings)

Thanks to their blowout of the Clippers yesterday most of the Kings starters were able to play limited minutes and should be relatively fresh. Led by the balanced scoring of players like Domantas Sabonis, De’Aaron Fox and Keegan Murray, over their last 10 games, the Kings are the 4th best offensive and 5th best defensive team in the league. Over that same stretch, the Bulls are 25th and 23rd in the same categories, respectively. Sacramento has won nine of their last 12 games with all nine of those victories being by at least three points (the current spread).

The Bulls are just 1-7 against Western Conference teams this season and 3-7 ATS in their last 10 games overall. Sacramento is 6-2 ATS in their last eight home games and 5-1 ATS in their last six games playing with no rest days. Expect the Kings to maintain their momentum and cover this short spread at home.

KIngs vs. Bulls Game Total Under 239.5 Points (-110 DraftKings)

This is such a high total and I will take the bite on the under. First of all, as mentioned, the Kings are one of the best defensive teams in the NBA over the past couple of weeks. The Kings are also 2nd defensively in allowing the fewest transition points and the 3rd fewest second-chance points. Both teams having played last night is also a factor to consider in taking the under
