Hawks vs. Nets Odds & Picks: Look for Brooklyn to Continue Their Win Streak on the Road

Betsperts analyst Ron Klos goes over his best bets for the Hawks vs Nets.

The Atlanta Hawks will host the Brooklyn Nets on Wednesday night at the State Farm Arena with tipoff set for 7:30 PM ET. The visiting Nets will put their league-leading, nine-game winning streak on the line against a Hawks team that might be without Trae Young. Five of Brooklyn’s wins during the current streak have come on the road, where they are 10-7 on the year. The Nets are coming off a 125-117 road victory over the Cavaliers on Monday. The loss of Young could be especially problematic for Atlanta, which is already missing two starters, Clint Capela and De’Andre Hunter, who have both missed recent games. This will be the second of four meetings in the season series between these teams with the Nets earning a 120-116 home win over the Hawks on December 9th.

Hawks vs Nets Best Bets

Nets -6.5 (-110 DraftKings)

Brooklyn is playing their best basketball of the year having won 13 of 14 games and going 20-6 since replacing head coach Steve Nash with Jacque Vaughn. Most of the important pieces in their rotation are fully healthy and they are simply a team that is clicking on all cylinders right now. Brooklyn is 6-1 ATS in their last seven games while the Hawks are 1-4 ATS in their past five home games. With the Hawks potentially missing star Trae Young along with two other starters, the Nets should cover this number with ease.

Hawks vs Nets Game Over 233.5 Points (-110 DraftKings)

During their nine-game winning streak, the Nets have been the most efficient offensive team in the league with both Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving feeding off of each other and almost scoring at will. They even scored an incredible 91 points in the first half last week against the Warriors. With Durant not having to worry about being guarded by the Hawks best defender, Hunter, points should be plenty on the Nets side. The Hawks have also been above average of late scoring at least 125 points in their past three games. They still have offensive firepower in Dejounte Murray, Bogdan Bogdanovic, and John Collins. The over is 4-1 in the Nets last five overall and 6-2 in the Hawks last eight games.

Risk: 1.1 Units on DraftKings to win 1 unit. (Playable to 234)
