There are only three games tonight on the last day of action before NBA All-Star Weekend, and there’s same-game parlay value available in the nightcap as the Los Angeles Clippers travel to Phoenix to take on the Suns. The Clippers are near full strength for this matchup, but they dropped their first two games against the Suns so far this season.

The Suns look to extend their perfect 10-0 record against Pacific Division opponents as they are one-point favorites against the Clippers. They recently made headlines by acquiring Kevin Durant at the trade deadline, but he remains sidelined with a knee injury despite practicing for the first time with the Suns this week.

NBA Same Game Parlay Odds & Pick

The Parlay: (+511)

  • Ivica Zubac Over 9.5 Rebounds (+110)
  • Paul George Over 24.5 Points (+200)

Ivica Zubac Over 9.5 Rebounds (+110)

The Suns, who are 18th in Offensive Rating, have really struggled on the offensive end with efficiency at times this season. They rank 22nd in the league in effective field goal percentage (53.3%), 30th in two-point percentage, 22nd in shooting percentage and 22nd in points per game.

This is a favorable spot for Clippers big man Ivica Zubac to continue his success on the glass. He leads the Clippers by averaging 10.1 boards per game and has recorded at least 10 rebounds in five of the last seven games.

In his last three games against the Suns, Zubac has had success on the glass with 13 boards in 31 minutes, 11 in 25 and most recently eight rebounds in 21 minutes. If he continues his same per-minute rebounding rate against the Suns at 31.7 minutes of game time (his average minutes per game this month), he is projected for 13.2 rebounds.

Expect him to continue his rebounding efficiency while playing around 30 minutes as there is plenty of value on him recording over 9.5 rebounds.

Paul George Over 24.5 Points (+200)

Paul George is averaging 17.5 shot attempts per game and has at least 20 shots in three of his last four games. In a game expected to be competitive, look for the Clippers to rely heavily on George. Although he has not been the most efficient as of late, he should eclipse his point total on volume alone.

The Suns frequently commit fouls at 20.9 per game. George, who ranks in the 97th percentile in non-shooting fouls drawn per team play, could feast at the free throw line (where he shoots over 87% this season) if the Suns get into the bonus. As long as he continues to be aggressive, there’s value in taking an alternate points total.
