It’s Trade Deadline Day in the NBA, and we likely saw the grand finale late last night with Brooklyn sending Kevin Durant to Phoenix. In the short term, that move doesn’t impact the Nets at all because Durant has been out. The team is expected to get reinforcements in the lineup tonight, with Spencer Dinwiddie and Dorian Finney-Smith likely active, coming over from Dallas in the Kyrie Irving trade. That move also opened the door for second-year guard Cam Thomas to show out, and he’s made the most of his opportunity, scoring 47 and 43 points in his first two starts of the season.

Bulls vs. Nets Best Bets
Nets -1.5 (-110, FanDuel)
The Trade Deadline could impact this game, though, with the Bulls likely active participants prior to the 3 p.m. ET cutoff time. DeMar DeRozan, Alex Caruso, and Patrick Williams are all question marks for this one, with DeRozan the most likely to miss, and the rotation behind them could get shuffled and thin with any last-minute dealings.
I like the Nets here as short home favorites, galvanized with the recent trades and new faces coming in, while the Bulls are dealing with unknown rotations.
Risk: 1.1 units on FanDuel to win 1 unit. (Playable to -115)
