The 3-1 Memphis Grizzlies travel to Sacramento to take on the 0-3 Kings to kick off a four game road trip. This is the easiest of the four games for Memphis as their next three entail a two game series against the surprisingly feisty Utah Jazz, and then a one game affair against the Portland Trail Blazers before they head home.
As for Sacramento, they look for their first win of the season after three hard fought games — two of their losses separated by five or less points.
Here’s a same game parlay you can bet for tonight’s matchup.
The Parlay: (+225)
- De’Aaron Fox Over 1.5 Made 3-Point Shots (-120)
- Domantas Sabonis Over 10.5 Rebounds (-135)
Grizzlies vs. Kings — Same Game Parlay
De’Aaron Fox Over 1.5 Made 3-point shots (-120)
This game by far has the highest total of the four games on the slate tonight and that is expected with two teams geared toward offense. The Grizzlies come in averaging 118.5 points per contest with the Kings averaging 114.
Sacramento is led by De’Aaron Fox, who is off to a blistering start averaging 31.7 points on just shy of 60% shooting from the floor, 5.7 rebounds per contest and 7 assists per game.
His field goal attempts per game really stands out — he is averaging 21.3 shots per contest from the floor, and his attempts from beyond the arc are up as well at 6.7. Although it is a small sample size, the volume of attempts will be there in this matchup.
No surprise to see his points total (25.5) is set high for this contest, and rightfully so. Although he’s typically a streaky 3-point shooter, he’s made three or more from beyond the arc in two of the Kings’ first three games and he looks to be in a very favorable spot tonight. I like the over on his 3s tonight.
Domantas Sabonis Over 10.5 Rebounds (-135)
Although his stats in head-to-head matchups against the Grizzlies came as a member of the Pacers, Domantas Sabonis has put up big numbers against Memphis. He’s logged a double-double in four straight contests dating back to 2019.
Throughout that four game stretch he has averaged 20.3 points, 13.8 rebounds and 7.0 assists. This is right up there with his stats as a member of the Kings. Through 18 games played, Sabonis is averaging 18.1 points and 11.8 boards per contest.
He’s in a favorable spot tonight to log another big stat game — Memphis is middle of the pack in rebounding percentage as a team. Sabonis’ odds to log a double-double are poor with the best number I found at -190. Instead, take a look at the over on his rebounds set at 10.5 for -135.
