#7 Jim Pollard

1947 - 1955

Pollard spent his entire seven-year career as a Minneapolis Laker, averaging 13.2 points, 7.8 rebounds and 3.2 assists. He, along with George Mikan and Vern Mikkelson, formed one of the best frontcourts in NBA history, as the trio led the Lakers to four titles in the early part of the 1950s. Pollard was considered one of the best forwards in the 1940s and 1950s, and known for his leaping ability, earning him the nickname, “The Kangaroo Kid.”
