High School Games:
The Downtown Series
presented by Gatorade
Last season, the Timberwolves and Target Center hosted more than 30 boys' and girls' high school basketball games and three collegiate contests. A high school/college game is a chance to bring your team, school, fans and entire community down to Target Center to showcase your team and conference. The opportunity to play in Minnesota's premier basketball facility is a thrill for your players and fans!
The Timberwolves will handle game operations and provide the following:
Promotion of the game within your school and community
Locker rooms for each team
Music and team introductions
Gatorade for each bench
T-shirt commemorating the game for each player and coach
The Home Team will supply the following:
Game night programs for both teams
Officials for the contest
Game ball and basketballs for both teams
Scorekeeper, timekeeper, and P.A. announcer (Timberwolves will supply if needed)
Youth Games
A youth game on the Timberwolves' home court is a terrific experience for players and coaches. Each participant will take away a lifelong memory of his/her NBA experience. Bring your teams and fans and we'll do the rest. The Timberwolves will provide:
Officials for each game
Warm-up music and NBA-style introductions of each player
Four-quarter game (seven-minute quarters)
Target Center main scoreboard and an official scorekeeper
Basketballs for each team to use and a game ball
Gatorade for each team bench
A gift item to take away from the experience
Your game at Target Center is one that you and your players will not soon forget. Imagine the thrill of playing on the court where your favorite NBA stars play, and then taking a seat to cheer on the Timberwolves as they battle their way towards an NBA Championship!
A day at Target Center can be used as a community event or a fundraiser for your program. If you would like to play at Target Center but do not have an opponent in mind, we will work with you to find a team of equal ability.
