Nuggets Waive Five Players
DENVER, Oct. 23 -- The Denver Nuggets have waived G Anthony Roberson, F Stacey Augmon, F/C Jelani McCoy, F/C Brad Stricker and G Mike Wilks team Vice President of Basketball Operations Mark Warkentien announced today. Roberson appeared in five games for the Nuggets this preseason, averaging 14.2 ppg and 4.4 apg in 27.6 mpg. Augmon also played in five preseason games for the Nuggets, averaging 3.2 ppg and 2.6 rpg in 19.0 mpg. McCoy appeared in four preseason games for the Nuggets, averaging 4.5 ppg and 5.5 rpg in 16.8 mpg. Stricker played in four games for the Nuggets this preseason, averaging 0.5 ppg and 0.5 rpg in 4.0 mpg. Wilks appeared in one preseason game for the Nuggets, posting two points and one assist in six minutes. The Nuggets roster now stands at 14 players.
