Nenê Suffers Torn Ligament in Thumb
DENVER, Nov. 9 -- An examination by a hand specialist in Denver on Nov. 8 revealed that Nuggets forward Nenê suffered a torn ulner collateral ligament in his left thumb during the second quarter of the Nuggets 119-93 loss at Boston on Nov. 7. Dr. Carlton Clinkscale performed successful surgery on the thumb today and Nenê is expected to be sidelined for six weeks.
