Nuggets guard Allen Iverson has established a $100,000 endowment with the Peninsula Community Foundation of Virginia, Inc. that will focus his future charitable gifts toward supporting local youth initiatives in the Newport News area.
Nuggets forward Carmelo Anthony will be partnering with the Colorado State Patrol Family Foundation (CSPFF) to promote the "Alive at 25" program -- an initiative that helps educate young adults on responsible decision-making related to driving.

Nuggets guard Anthony Carter announced that he will donate funds to the “I Have A Dream” Foundation® (IHAD) if certain team and personal records are broken during the 2007-08 season. Carter himself is a beneficiary of an Atlanta “I Have A Dream” program.
Nuggets point guard Allen Iverson brought smiles to the faces of nearly 40 children from Warren Village on Saturday, November 3rd at a basketball clinic on the Pepsi Center practice court.
The Nuggets were busy in the Denver community on Oct. 18, holding their annual Paint the Town and Open Practice events on the Metro State College of Denver campus. The team mingled with college students and hosted 2,000 elementary students for practice.

The Denver Nuggets and Qwest, in partnership with the Colorado High School Activities Association (CHSAA), have accepted nominations for the 2nd Annual Qwest Leadership Challenge, a national program designed to promote service and leadership among high-school students. Male and female high-school varsity basketball students throughout Colorado were encouraged to apply for the program and give back to their community.

Kroenke Sports Enterprises announced on Mar. 17 the start of the "Play Clean" program at the Pepsi Center, the home of the Denver Nuggets. The program is designed to encourage fans to recycle products used during concerts and events as well as cut down on pollution caused by cars.
