EAST RUTHERFORD, NJ – Nets player Josh Boone and Nets mascot Sly will join with 60 4th grade students to unveil the newly refurbished basketball court at P.S. 96 at 216 East 120th Street in Manhattan on Wednesday, June 18 from
10:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m.
The court, which includes new backboards and a logo reminder to have 3-A-Day of dairy, has been refurbished along with the court at PS. 241 in Manhattan to promote exercise and good nutrition to neighborhood kids.

The event will be hosted by celebrity radio DJ personality Dr. Bob Lee and will help to promote the Greater Harlem Chamber of Commerce “Harlem Healthy Living” campaign. Orthopedic health is being promoted by the Chamber during June, which is also Dairy Month – a perfect time for students to learn about the importance of eating calcium rich foods to maintain strong bones.

The event will include a ribbon cutting ceremony, an inaugural first shot, 3-A-Day snacks, and a fitness clinic.
