HEAT Head Coach Stan Van Gundy

"We had a lot of trouble handling their intensity and pressure when they got in to us. We turned the ball over a lof especially with Lamar (Odom). I thought we adjusted a little bit better in the second half. I thought their guards dominated the game. I thought we rebounded the ball for the most part pretty well, but there were several key rebounds down the stretch that we couldn't come up with and they got second chance opportunities that were very, very big; four or five that were just huge going down the stretch in the last five minutes. It was a game where both teams defended well and it was tough to score."

"I was not disappointed in our effort. I thought our mindset to start the game was a major problem. We tried to prepare them for three days how hard somebody would come at you at home down 2-0, but we seemed very surprised by that, and in the second half, we adjusted pretty well but we dug ourselves such a big hole. We kept fighting to get back and couldn't get back or over the hump and that was the story of the game. "

HEAT Forward Lamar Odom

"When I came back in, we were still only down by four. We showed a lot of heart by fighting and everybody trying to come in here and get one. We are still up two to one. They played a great game and got their win,but we were right there to win it and we did everything we needed to do and it was still a two possession game."

"I was telling the team before the game that if somebody was trying to kill you with their bare hands, what would you do?"

HEAT Guard Rafer Alston

On Lamar Odom:
"He has responded all year. It was a big challenge for him to lead our team and he has done a great job. He has his up and down sometimes during the game, but he seems to always come up with a great stat line and he always brings it night in and night out."
