 NBA LIVE Gaming Tournament Winner Photo Gallery Winner Headed to Vegas |
GameStop and Microsoft partnered with EA SPORTS to unveil a campaign featuring NBA LIVE 07 videogame tournaments and interactive activities for fans in France, Italy, Germany and Spain.
The NBA LIVE 07 video game tournaments, featured on the Xbox 360 videogame and entertainment system from Microsoft, crowned a national champion in each market including the German Finals in Cologne featuring Darryl Dawkins on October 7th.
The tournament culminated with the crowning of the Pan-European Tournament champion during the NBA Europe Live games in Cologne, Germany on October 9.
Preliminary rounds of the Gaming Tournament were played during NBA Basket Jam, an interactive fan tour that visited France, Italy, Germany and Spain from July 22 through Sept. 17 as a lead-up to NBA Europe Live.
