Boston Celtics Shamrock Foundation

The mission of the Boston Celtics Shamrock Foundation is to extend the reach of the Celtics championship legacy into our community. The Shamrock Foundation benefits our children directly, through programs that provide education and support. The Shamrock foundation also partners with community based organizations that provide healthcare, shelter and vital services for children in need.

This year our community partners are Children's Hospital Boston, Horizons for Homeless Children and the Massachusetts Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children (MSPCC).

Charitable Donation Requests

As you can imagine, we receive many requests from worthwhile organizations all over the world. Our goal is to fulfill as many requests as possible, but due to the overwhelming number of requests received, we are unable to support every organization with a donation. To be considered for a charitable donation, please follow the steps below:

  1. Download and complete the CELTICS DONATION REQUEST FORM. Incomplete forms will not be considered.
  2. Please attach any information regarding your event to the Donation Request form (flyers, info sheets, etc.)
  3. Fax or mail the completed Celtics Donation Request Forms, with additional information to:

Please note:

  • We do not verbally deny or commit to donation requests; correspondence will be via mail.
  • Requests MUST be received at least six (6) weeks prior to the date of your event
  • Assuming we receive your request at least 6 weeks before your event, correspondence will be sent via mail no later than 2 weeks prior to your event.
  • Organizations may only receive one donation per calendar year.
  • Due to limited resources, we are only able to support organizations operating in New England.
  • All requests are subject to approval by the Boston Celtics

For many years, programs dedicated to New England's youth have been the cornerstones of the Boston Celtics' charitable efforts. By utilizing all of our resources, the goal of the Celtics organization is to make a significant and direct impact on youth through effective interaction, support and implementation of our outreach initiatives.
