Luvabulls to host auditions on July 20 at the United Center

The Chicago Luvabulls will hold auditions for its 2008.09 team on Sunday, July 20, at the United Center. The selected team of 25 dancers will perform at all Chicago Bulls home games next season as well as numerous special events and charity fundraisers throughout the year.
Over 250 candidates are expected to display their talents to a panel of judges including former Luvabulls dancers, Bulls representatives and local media members. At the conclusion of the initial auditions, a group of 30-40 dancers will be selected to move forward to a mandatory training camp, which will be held Monday, August 4, through Wednesday, August 6, from 7:00 to 10:00 p.m. each evening.
2008 Luvabulls Dance Camp (July 14-18)
Train just like the pros train! The Chicago Bulls and Luvabulls present this exciting opportunity to learn dance techniques from the professionals--the Chicago Luvabulls, the cheerleaders for the Bulls. Program highlights include:
Appropriate class sizes, geared towards maximizing individual attention
Discussion of warm-up techniques and leadership strategies
A variety of routines are covered, including Pom, Hip-Hop and Theme
Two separate sessions to choose from, depending on the age of the attendee (Session 1: ages 7-13 | Session 2: ages 14-17)
The dance camp will be held at the Chicago Bulls Training Academy in Lisle. The cost of the dance camp is $250.00 per session. Simply complete both pages of the form and return with payment to: C.C. In their 29th season, the Chicago Luvabulls are synonymous with talent and beauty, glamour and glitz, as well as hard work, dedication and commitment.
This season's Luvabulls poster, sponsored by Bud Light, was given away to fans 21 and over on Dec. 18 at the United Center, prior to the Bulls' home game versus the Los Angeles Lakers.
Luvabulls must be at least twenty-one years old and have full-time employment or be full-time students.

The Luvabulls are on hand at all of the Bulls home games, dazzling the crowds at the United Center. This group of beautiful, talented and articulate women also makes numerous personal appearances at conventions, trade shows, sales meetings, promotional events and charitable events around the country. They have travelled frequently to Europe appearing at international basketball tournaments in Holland, England and France.
The Luvabulls are one of the most recognized dance teams in sports. Members of the team also represent the club at a number of special events throughout the year including private and corporate parties, award banquets, charity events and promotional engagements.
Luvabulls must be at least twenty-one years old and have full-time employment or be full-time students. Dance ability is essential and high school or college dance or cheerleading experience is helpful. Selections to the group are made based on appearance, personality and dance ability. Rehearsals are held two evenings per week.

The Luvabulls are available for personal appearances any time during the year. They frequently appear at trade shows, conventions, marketing meetings, sales promotion events, private parties, company events, golf outings, charity fundraisers and more. If you are looking to add excitement and glamour to your event, you should consider having the Chicago Luvabulls at your event.
Appearance rate is $90 per hour per Luvabull for corporate events and private parties.
Appearance rate for charity events vary depending on location and time required.
Appearance rate for a show (dance routine performance) is $3,500. These shows typically include 8 to 10 Luvabulls performing a five-seven minute dance routine and autograph session or other interaction with the audience.
All appearances are coordinated by C.C. Company of Illinois, Inc. and are subject to the availability of the Luvabulls. The Luvabulls are available for appearances on game nights.
In addition to the above performance fees, travel fees may apply if the appearance is outside the city limits of Chicago and all appearances are subject to an agency commission. Upon acceptance of your appearance, you will receive a contract and all payments must be made prior to the appearance as specified in the contract.

Registration for the Junior Luvabulls program is closed for the 2007.08 basketball season. Please keep checking Bulls.com for any updated information regarding the summer dance camp and information on how and when to register for next year.

On these special nights, all Jr. Luvabulls, family and friends can purchase tickets at half price! Tickets regularly priced at $40 are available for only $20.

Participants, girls from the ages of 7 to 17, train with the Bulls’ cheerleaders, the Luvabulls, and will perform at a total of five Bulls home games during the season.
