To celebrate Women’s History Month, the Thunder organization proudly recognizes and supports the 83 full-time female staff members who are driving our organization to new heights.
All women in both the basketball operations and the corporate offices received a “Save the Date” invitation for the Feb. 16 outdoor shoot. The long-range weather forecast looked promising. If rain did develop, no problem; the shoot would move to a covered location. But what about that Oklahoma wind?
Mother Nature may have exposed an overlooked component of the planning, but she helped reinforce the spirit and resilience that is in embodied in the Women of the Thunder.

Once Shiron Ray discovered Tuskegee Airmen buried in Muskogee, she was able to gain traction in recovering other cemeteries throughout the area. Her organization, Legacy Keepers-R-Us continues this work.
