Frequently Asked Questions

How do I get and use antenna?
WUAB is transmitted on a high-VHF frequency. That means one of those square UHF antennas won’t pick the station up. An outdoor VHF antenna will work best, however, if you do not currently own or prefer not to mount a big antenna to your roof, we recommend using an indoor rabbit ears antenna.

These antennas are widely available for purchase via Amazon, Best Buy and other retailers. Installation and setup is simple and requires three steps:

  • Push menu or input on your TV remote
  • Go to Channel or TV setup
  • Select scan or auto-scan or similar

NOTE: The indoor rabbit ears antenna should be placed in the highest window in your house that faces South and then rescan your TV.

Will the games still be on cable and satellite?
The five Cavaliers games will be available on WUAB on AT&T (Ch. 1043), COX (Ch. 1006), Spectrum (Ch. 1006) and other cable outlets throughout Northeast Ohio and select markets across the state of Ohio. WUAB can also be found on DirecTV and DISH (Ch. 43 on both).

If your cable provider is not shown above, please check your local guide for WUAB.

Will these games be on YouTube TV or HULU or the other streaming providers?
Games will be available on both YouTube TV and Hulu Live as long as your subscription includes the local channel for The CW.

Will these five games still air on Bally Sports?
These select games will no longer be streaming on Bally Sports+, Bally Sports Ohio, or via the Bally Sports app.

Who will be calling the games on these five broadcasts?
The Cavs broadcasting team will remain the same for these games. John Michael will continue to call play-by-play for all Cavs games on Bally Sports Ohio and the games distributed over-the-air through Gray, accompanied by analysts Austin Carr and Brad Daugherty. Serena Winters and Cayleigh Griffin will remain as sideline reporter and co-host of Cavaliers Live, respectively.

Can I watch the games on NBA League Pass?
These games will be available on League Pass, however are subject to NBA Blackout rules which include locations within 75 miles of Cleveland. It’s advised to subscribe to the digital version of League Pass, available on the NBA app.
