Meet the Coaches
Danielle Williams
Hometown: Fortworth, TXCoach Danielle, or "Coach D" as her friends call her, is our Youth Basketball Manager. Danielle took over the Rip City Hoops program in August 2023 and says she feels blessed and honored to lead this program along with her coaches.
Her goal is to give kids a positive experience through basketball and create or foster the same love for the game she first felt at an early age. Coach D started coaching youth basketball in 2019 and uses a coaching philosophy of "Holistic coaching".
She believes every kid deserves a chance to fall in love with basketball, and the Trail Blazers! Coach Danielle played collegiate basketball at Indiana University while earning her bachelor's degree in Sport Media.
Danielle played basketball professionally in Puerta Vallarta, Mexico and she was the tallest girl on every team she has ever played on!
